23 cadets and staff members from the squadron marked the anniversary of the formation of the Air Training Corps, which was founded 78 years ago, attending an ATC Sunday church service at St John’s Church.
In addition to this, Fg Off McCully and Sgt Sleightholme joined other staff members from around the wing at 111 (Sunderland) Squadron ATC braving the snow to attend an Outdoor First Aid course, ran by Life Saving Training.
This weekend, the squadron will be completing BTEC training, Overseas camp interviews, L98 A2 Weapons Handling Training, Sports Trials, Wing media conference and a day walk! Watch this space for further updates.
