On Saturday 9th May, 1338 (Seaham) Squadron took part in the Durham and Northumberland Wing Training Day which consists of Drill, Banner Drill, First Aid, Aero-modelling, Media and Aircraft Recognition competitions.

For the past several months the squadron has been tirelessly preparing models and practicing drill, first aid and aircraft recognition.

In the wing, the squadron came 2nd overall, taking 1st in Adult First Aid, 2nd in Drill, 3rd in Youth First Aid, 4th in Banner Drill and several 1st and 2nd places in Aero-modelling.

The Adult First Aid team will now go onto represent the Wing at the Regional Training Day held at RAF Linton-on-ouse.
